James Owen, author of Here There be Dragons (a story in which Tolkien is a character) says he is an illustrator who writes, rather than a writer who illustrates, yet his stories are extremely good! You should take a look to those books, perhaps you are another great writer in the same fashion!

Hier soir, au concert "Pleine lune en duo" au château de Nyon, j'ai passé une excellente soirée. J'ai apprécié la musique et admiré vos dessins projetés sur le mur, impressionnants en grand format, comme l'effrayant "Abysse", les magnifiques couleurs de "Chimère" et les détails foissonnants de "Gargouilles".

Hello Mr. Howe, just wanted to comment on your latest newsletter, about Columbus and the flat world.

It was a great read about an interesting topic. The falseness of both the flat world and the Spanish Inquisition myths does not get enough publicity.

I've been following your work for years and am as enchanted as ever, but I'll tell you what-- these days it's your writing that keeps luring me back. I enjoy it so much. The fact that you have inclination to write about such a trial as your Swiss/France border crossing amuses me highly, mostly because it is familiar. What would we do if we could not laugh at ourselves?
The following site made me think of you and your sense of humor, actually. It takes art in a very different direction-- trying to make reality out of myth and legend.... by creating the legend and the reality at the same time. Good fun. You'll find it at www.rosieandtheposers.com.

Just went through your work here, and I got to admit it's absolutly amazing!

I remember after reading Silmarillion, i wanted to picture myself the people and the environment other than the limits of my own imaginaton, and your paintings does that in a perfect way! Thank you.

i just wanted to leave a word of thanx for the amazing work that you have done over the course of your career... it has been a inspiring adventure to look at your art... it has given he the inspiration for me to carry forth with my own ideas and as well as finding that there is no greater way to live ones life than to pursue one's passion...i am 21 and have long debated my future and career... i have been drawing all my life and have loved art since i was a child. it is because of your art that i have discovered my passion once more and the courage to see how far i can take it...
